Moths - you either love them or hate them but either way, you can't deny their interesting shapes, colours and patterns. The process starts with a paper drawing that is then transferred to a Lino sheet and carefully hand carved by me, using special tools. Once the carving work is done, a water-based ink is rolled onto the print and then printed onto a sheet of paper. The outcome is rather charming!

Midnight Moth Linocut Print

Moths - you either love them or hate them but either way, you can't deny their interesting shapes, colours and patterns.

The process starts with a paper drawing that is then transferred to a Lino sheet and carefully hand carved by me, using special tools. Once the carving work is done, a water-based ink is rolled onto the print and then printed onto a sheet of paper. The outcome is rather charming!

This beautiful stylised print can be framed, pegged to a line/mesh board, used in journaling or sent as a gift to a friend. It looks lovely unframed, or perhaps in a second hand frame you’ve found in your travels.

- A5

- Printed on 250 gsm white or brown paper.

As these are individually hand printed, each print will be unique and may vary slightly in ink transfers. They may be lighter/darker.
